Regardless of where it came from, it's now mine. That's right; I claim it. And damn anyone else.
My idea behind the word is that there are certain things that, while cycling, just come naturally to some of us. They're the things that we figure out when we're completely oxygen-deprived, or when we're just cruising along a road that follows a river and feeling great about not only cycling, but life in general. What is velomatic is what a cyclist's life is all about. It can also be the little things like going for a ride when it's 65 degrees (f), raining, you're doing everything a gear lower, and you're flying. Nothing at all beats that feeling.
But also: It's where I'll put my feelings about this dance we all do. These will be my criticisms of the peloton, the bikes, and everything surrounding this scene. And trust me; I've already noticed plenty that should be written down.
Do feel free to leave comments, criticisms, profanity, and anything else you feel may be appropriate.
Above all: Enjoy.
